boasting. Waving in the clouds

for your attention. A skater’s

triple axel.

I’m that sobbing 

tax collector. At the back

Temple, who softly

beats their breast—

not daring to lift their

eyes toward the sky,

be seen as another

braggart

by the Lords of

Literature.

upon the white

dedicate it to your

dog,

the one which jumps

about, snatches

a golden frisbee

in the air, barks in

great humility

that its human

is the one

who gets the credit.
